On November 7, Teresa Shaw attended a Garth Brooks concert and left with his guitar, and a memory she will never forget.Shaw caught Garth's eye by holding up a sign that read: "Chemo this morning. Garth tonight. Enjoying the dance."For his final song of the evening, "The Dance", Garth had her ushered to the front of the stage where he sat down with her, handed her his guitar, and kissed her on the forehead. After the song, he proceeds to tell her, "You have all my strength, you have everybody's strength in here, and you go kick cancer's ass!"
Garth Brooks sings "The Dance" to cancer patient at Minneapolis concert
Nov 7, 2014 -- as the final song of the night (and the 3rd of 11 shows at Target Center), Garth Brooks ends by giving a woman battling cancer the night of her life! He notices the sign of Teresa Shaw, which says: "Chemo this morning, Garth tonight. Enjoy the dance", and he walked over to serenade her from the edge of the stage. He gave up finishing the song to give her the guitar right off his back, as well as an embrace which ended with a kiss on her forehead, leaving those in attendance to finish the song in unison. Garth then held up her sign and proclaimed to her (and all those in attendance): "God just stuck his hand out! You have all my strength, you have everybody's strength in here, and you go kick cancer's ass!"

It was truly a moment I will NEVER forget.
